Lacquered Boxes

Each wooden box is carefully sanded and painted with two coats of paint then sanded and lacquered until a smooth finish is obtained. The boxes are then painted and allowed to dry at which time additional coats of lacquer are applied, sanded between coats until just right.

I really enjoy painting the boxes, to end up with a beautiful painted box I must incorporate a lot of steps and technique so the boxes I offer are unique. When they are sold, they are gone. The patterns you see painted on the boxes are usually designed as I am playing with different flowers and arrangements to add to my glassware collection.
